The incorporation of measured surface topographies in the Journal Bearing Simulation App significantly enhances the understanding of oil flow and contact mechanisms in tribological applications. By selecting from different production-specific surfaces available within the app, or by sending a sample to AC2T for measurement and integration, users have the possibility to study these effects.
